The Visa Bulletin for January 2011 was published today. I am sad to report that the family-based 2A preference retrogressed almost 3 years. The priority date now is January 2008, whereas it was August 2010 just in the December 2010 bulletin. Hopes for a speedier processing time has been dashed for some of my clients. We hope that the new year will bring better news.
