Luka obtained his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2015 and his Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Spanish from the University of Washington in 2012.
Prior to joining Watson Immigration Law in 2018, Luka worked at a number of firms focusing on commercial litigation and immigration law. He has experience with a wide range of general and employment-based immigration matters, including H-1Bs, L-1s, PERMs, EB petitions, adjustment of status, and naturalization. As an immigrant himself, he feels a strong sense of empathy and solidarity for what clients go through as they navigate our stressful and complex immigration system.
Luka is currently a member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Luka is a native Croatian speaker and fluently speaks, reads, and writes Spanish as well.
Hobbies and Interests:
Born in Croatia, Luka is an avid soccer fan and a passionate supporter of both the Croatian National Football Team and Liverpool FC. He takes the World Cup very seriously. A Husky through and through, he finds time for football as well, attending every Husky game that he can.
In his spare time, Luka enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, reading, and socializing with friends. He also enjoys traveling, visiting his homeland every summer to see his family and relax on the sunny Croatian coastline.
