Today, October 13, 2010, is a special day. I became a US citizen, joining many of my clients in the pursuit of the ultimate dream of becoming an American citizen. The journey was an emotional one, which I was not expecting. I will write about my experience soon, but for now I will say this- I know I will be an even better immigration attorney for having undergone this process and feeling all the emotions that come with such a profound endeavor.
Below is a video of the ceremony in which I was sworn in as a US citizen today in Tukwila, Washington. Coincidentally, Maria Arcega-Dunn of Q13 Fox news naturalized at the same ceremony as myself. Watson Immigration Law congratulates Maria and all the other 84 people from 26 countries that naturalized today.
