On Friday July 15, the King County Library Service (KLSC) held a pro bono clinic on the topic of Citizenship at the Lake Hills Library in Bellevue, WA. This was one of several such events held by KLSC. Some 20-25 people attended the event. The Director of USCIS Seattle Field Office Ms. Linda Dougherty also attended to provide guidance to the public.
There was a presentation by members of KCLS followed by a questions and answers session. Attendees were able to discuss their cases with Ms. Dougherty and the attorneys present including myself.
The event was an enjoyable one all round. Thank you to KCLS for holding the invaluable event. I hope those who attended are able to obtain citizenship soon.
