On Friday, October 28th, Watson Immigration Law’s Nicole Lockett was invited to speak at the orientation seminar for paralegal students at Highline Community College looking to begin internships soon. A legal internship is a required component of the Paralegal Program at Highline, with each student needing to complete at least 90 hours at one law firm before graduation. A star student and graduate of the Highline program herself, Nicole was invited by professor and internship coordinator, Ché Dawson to join a panel of speakers at the seminar.
The panel consisted of former and current students who have completed an internship. Discussion topics included academic, internship and professional experiences. Each panelist shared stories and advice to aid current students who will soon be seeking an internship of their own.
Watson Immigration Law is proud of serve the community. We wish all the students much luck for the future.
