The Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to meet tomorrow, December 7th, for a committee hearing on the current EB5 program. It is hoped that the EB5 program will be made a permanent program, or at least, as a person with interest in this type of immigration visa, I hope it does become permanent. The United States needs this program to continue, particularly in the current economic climate. The pilot program is expected to sunset in September 2012. Let’s hope there is good news on this issue.
