Tahmina Talks Immigration with Founders of The Sanaya Set on Friday May 11th at 10am PST on Radio Punjab!

On my next show on Radio Punjab, I am delighted to announce that my guests will be Founders of The Sanaya Set– the latest subscription box for a cause creating a buzz. Tarul Tripathi and Sandy Mathews will join me live on air on Radio Punjab’s Seattle studio as well as live on Facebook on the Facebook page of Tahmina Talks Immigration on Friday May 11th at 10am PST!

The Sanaya Set is a curated seasonal collection of lifestyle products made for and by women. The products are carefully sourced to ensure every item in the collection aligns with Sanaya Set’s principles. With every purchase, 10% of net proceeds will go to an organization they highlight for the seasonthe Winter 2018 collection benefits Planned Parenthood.  This season it is ACLU.  And best yet, Tahmina is the Brand Ambassador for the current season!

Tarul Kode Tripathi is the Founder and CEO. She grew up in the greater Seattle area, as the eldest of 3 siblings. She and her family are survivors of domestic violence and long-standing friends of local non-profit API Chaya; Tarul is also on their Board of Directors. As a pharmacist and senior clinical program manager, she is passionate about access to high quality health care. The Sanaya Set was named after Tarul’s daughter- Sanaya means distinguished. In founding the Sanaya Set, Tarul is pursuing her passions for advocacy, social justice, and intersectionality- for herself, her kids, and our community. Tarul also loves style. Fun fact- she was awarded ‘trend setter’ her senior year in high school.

Sandy Mathews, Co-founder and COO, started her corporate career over 15 years ago in technology start-ups and currently works as a business design consultant. She currently lives in the Seattle area. When she graduated from business school, she thought about starting her own business, but the responsibilities of having a family made her put those dreams on the backburner. It wasn’t until Tarul approached her with the idea of the Sanaya Set, she decided to make the leap. Sandy also sits on the Board of Directors for API Chaya and has worked volunteered extensively with the Junior League of Seattle, Treehouse and the PEP (Prison Entrepreneurship Program). Sandy is all business, all the time, except when football is on.

Tarul and Sandy will be on my talk show “Tahmina Talks Immigration at 10am PST on Friday 11th May on Radio Punjab! Thanks so both Tarul and Sandy for taking time out of their busy schedules for joining me to talk Immigration!
