The May 2021 Visa Bulletin was released this afternoon. Once again we saw steady movement in most categories, and EB1 India and EB1 China continue to remain current. USCIS has indicated that the Final Action Dates chart is to be used by applicants filing for their greencards in the employment-based and F2A categories, while the Dates for Filing chart is to be used by those in the remaining family-based categories. There has been a lot of buzz recently about a potential influx of available visa numbers because of unused ones the past two fiscal years, which could see tremendous amounts of movements for traditionally very backlogged categories.

For all countries except India, China, Philippines, and Mexico: F2A category priority date remains current, F2B preference advances 7 days to a PD of 15 August 2015, F4 category advances 7 days to 8 November 2006; EB1 remains current; EB2 remains current; and EB3 remains current.
For India only: F2A category remains current, F2B preference advances 7 days to 15 August 2015, F4 advances 7 days to a PD of 15 April 2005; EB1 remains current; EB2 advances 92 days to 1 August 2010; EB3 advances 153 days to a PD of 1 February 2011; EB5 Non-Regional Center and Regional Center remains current.
For China only: EB1 remains current; EB2 advances 91 days to a PD of 1 December 2016; EB3 advances 61 days to a PD of 15 May 2018; EB5 Non-Regional Center and Regional Center remains at a PD of 15 August 2015.
For Vietnam only: EB5 Non-Regional Center and Regional Center advances 62 days to a PD of 15 February 2018.
