USCIS to Begin Accepting Parole Applications for Spouses of U.S. Citizens Starting on August 19

USCIS has just announced details of a new process, starting August 19th, for certain noncitizen spouses of U.S. citizens to request parole in place, allowing them to apply for lawful permanent residence without leaving the U.S.

Eligible applicants must have been in the U.S. for at least 10 years, be married to a U.S. citizen, and have no disqualifying criminal history.

The process aims to promote family unity and stability. Applications submitted before the official start date will be rejected.
