WIL Supports Homestead Community Land Trust:
On June 20th 2009, Homestead Community Land Trust, held it’s second annual auction. Homestead CLT assists low income families achieve home ownership. This is a much needed organization, especially in the current financial climate. The event was a great success. KCWWL board member Rebecca Andrews was one of the main organizers of the auction. WIL attends Minority Bar Association Joint Picnic: On June 27th 2009, Washington State Minority Bar Assocations held their 3rd annual joint picnic at Ravenna Park. The event was attended by representatives all MBAs, including KCWWL. Approximately 90 people enjoyed the warm sunshine and festivities.
