The outline of the immigration reform bill has some very stringent and onerous terms for H1b petitions. See my earliest post today. The requirements include advertising the job for 30 days (there is no such requirement at the moment) as well as drastically higher government fees. Advertising is usually required in green card petitions for employees, not for H1b petitions. Facebook foundMark Zuckerberg is leading the fight to ensure these provisions are not included.
