At the AILA annual conference, USCIS Director Alejandro Mayorkas delivered the keynote speech. With an audience of almost 4000 immigration lawyers, the Director said what we all wanted to hear on DOMA. He said that since 2011 when the Obama administration said that DOMA was unconstitutional, they have kept a list of all I-130s that were denied. He indicated that the agency is prepared to act on these cases. The entire room cheered for joy!
