The Department of H0meland Security wants to hear from you about how you think the immigration system can be modernized. A notice was placed on the Federal Register yesterday, December 30th 2014, stating that public comments can be made until January 29th 2015.
I will be writing to share my thoughts. As my regular readers will know, I have been writing and recommending changes for sometime now. I am excited to have an actual forum in which to share my thoughts that will have the chance of being considered! I highly recommend that if any of you have strong opinions on what needs to be changed, this is the time to get heard.

This is an important time. Important because you are not asking a Congressman or Senator to change the law. You are sharing your thoughts with the current Adminstration on how current law can be improved through policy changes, which does not need Congress action. So, I am re-emphasizing how important this is because those who can make policy changes are listening.
