It has been a busy first half of 2016. As you may have noticed, my radio show “immigration with Tahmina” on Desi 1250am is doing well and my pursuit for immigration reform is in full force! Needless to say, running a radio show takes more time than I realized so I am not finding enough time to write as much as I generally do. But I am covering all news updates on the radio show itself. So, please tune in either on your radio at 1250am or live stream from the website www.desi1250am.com every Tuesday at 10am PST. The show is repeated every Friday at 12:30 pm PST. All of the shows are finally archived on SoundCloud. If you have missed past shows, I hope you can catch up! Watson Immigration Law’s support continues for various non-profit organizations helping immigrants, minorities and children in need. One of the highlights was to visit New York City where the movie For Here or To Go was screened courtesy of South Asian Youth Action (SAYA). The movie still needs to raise funds for screening in movie theatres. If you want to contribute to this wonderful grass roots advocacy tool and help bring immigration reform, please do contact me.
