Tahmina Watson Showcard-color-NFI am excited and honored to announce my next guest Robert Pauw on Tuesday July 26th 2016 at 10am PST!  Robert Pauw (Bob to his friends!) is a renowned immigration attorney with national and international acclaim.  I am lucky to call him a friend and mentor. Robert Pauw

Robert is one of the lead attorneys litigating one of the most anticipated business immigration cases that arose from the immigration executive actions- Mehta vs. DOS arguing that intended immigrants should be able to file for green card applications based on the October 2015 visa bulletin (he will explain!). The case was dubbed #VisaGate2015.  Robert will join me on the show to talk all things #VisaGate2015!

Robert Pauw is a founding partner of Gibbs Houston Pauw. Since 1983 he has successfully represented thousands of individuals and businesses in immigration cases. Robert has extensive experience in all aspects of immigration law and is nationally known for his focus on immigration-related litigation.

He has been a faculty member at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) Litigation Training Institute and an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at the Seattle University School of Law. He is a frequent speaker on immigration law at AILA National and Regional Conferences and symposiums, and often serves as a legal advisor to non-profit organizations and advocacy groups on the issues of immigration.  He is annually ranked as a “Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics Magazine.

Robert will be on my radio talk show “Immigration with Tahmina Watson” at 10 am PST on July 26 on Desi 1250 AM.  You can tune into your radio at 1250 AM or listen online at www.desi1250am.com.  #VisaGate2015 issues particularly affect our Desi community.  This show will be an unmissable one if you or anyone you know is stuck in the visa backlog.
