I am honored and grateful to announce that Congressman Rick Larsen from Washington State’s Second District will appear on my radio show “Immigration with Tahmina” on Desi 1250am on Tuesday December 6th 2016 at 10am PST!
With the elections over, but still facing controversy, our local elected officials are ever more important. Congressman Larsen has been a strong proponent for immigration reform and I am so excited he will take some time of his busy day to join us at Desi 1250am!
Congressman Rick Larsen is serving his eighth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He represents the Second Congressional District of Washington state, which is north of Seattle and includes portions of Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties and all of Island and San Juan counties.
Congressman Larsen is a leader on transportation and aviation, trade and U.S.-China relations. He is a strong advocate for pro-growth policies that support innovation, job creation and a strong economic foundation.
The Second District is home to Boeing’s largest facility where workers make the 747s, 767s, 777s, 787s and the new Air Force KC-46 refueling tanker. The District is also home to Naval Station Everett and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, which serve central roles in the Defense Department’s Asia-Pacific mission.
Congressman Larsen and his wife, Tiia, are the proud parents of two sons, Robert and Per, who represent the fifth generation of Larsens in the District.
This is an unmissable interview for our Desi 1250am listeners. With an uncertain future in a new administration, we need to continue to help our representatives help us.
Tune in at 10am PST on Tuesday 29th November on your radio at 1250 am or livestream at www.desi1250am.com. Download the app from the appstore. The show will be repeated on air at 8pm PST again this Friday.
Thank you to Congressman Larsen for taking time out of his incredibly busy schedule. On behalf of myself, the listeners and Desi 1250am, we are honored and grateful!
