Immigration options after tech layoffs

Tahmina Watson Leadership ThoughtsIt’s been a troubling time for tech companies and we’re seeing layoffs everywhere. Twitter was the latest to slash numbers. What happens to those on visas working for these companies? Maintaining status is imperative.  I wrote about such options for the Puget Sound Business Journal.

And any founders or employees in the U.S relying on these companies to sponsor their visas or green cards will find that suddenly, the problem isn’t just about economics. They are in a scramble to find ways to remain in this country.”
