USCIS issues memo on 'same or similar' occupation

On Friday March 18th, USCIS issued a final memo on determining 'same or similar' occupations.  This in the context of pending employment-based cases for adjustment of status.  Here is a link.

I have not read it in detail yet but hope to do so after the H1b lottery season is over. The intent is to provide guidance regarding when a job is same or similar.

Stay tuned - I will likely write about this end of April or early May.
