August 26, 2011 H-1B Cap Count As of August 26, 2011, approximately 29,000 H-1B cap-subject petitions were receipted. Additionally, USCIS has receipted 15,800 H-1B petitions for aliens with advanced degrees.
As of April 22, 2011, approximately 8,000 H-1B cap-subject petitions were receipted. Additionally, USCIS has receipted 5,900 H-1B petitions for aliens with advanced degrees.
